Decide how you want to spend your days
Start with the style of stay rather than a photograph. Would you prefer to settle into one resort or divide the journey between several bases? The Maldives and Seychelles both offer island holidays, but the transfer plan and accommodation choice can make two quotes very different. Tell the team how much sightseeing and independent exploration you want alongside beach time.
Compare the complete arrival plan
Ask how the proposed property is reached from the international airport, how long the connection allows and whether transfers are included. For a trip with several islands, request each transfer as a separate itinerary item. A low room rate does not establish the final cost of reaching the property or moving to the next stop.
Make the room and meals comparable
Compare the same room category, number of nights and meal basis. Ask about the cost of meals outside the selected plan and which activities carry extra charges. If privacy, beach access or a particular villa type matters, put that requirement in the enquiry and confirm the actual booked category in writing.
Choose with your dates and budget in view
Send both destinations as alternatives using the same travel dates and overall budget. Request a complete total including airfare, transfers, accommodation and identified exclusions. Check current entry requirements with the relevant official authorities. Choose the proposal whose pace and inclusions fit your trip, rather than treating either destination as automatically cheaper or better.
